For the past year I have been year, I have been trying to help Christian and Newbie Affiliate Marketers learn How to use Social Media for Free Advertising, Lead Building and more Consistent Sales. The basic elements of Most Affiliate programs makes it nearly impossible to Build a Long-Term and Sustainable Income on the Internet. Many of you may have also tried MLM programs that are very similar in that they just cannot produce a living wage for those who are doing all of the work. Let's take a moment to discuss the Pit-Falls of most Affiliate programs and Work at Home Opportunities. When you sign up for a decent Affiliate program here is what you usually get:

• A Cookie-Cutter Website that is exactly the same as hundreds (or even thousands) of other people who are trying to make money with the same exact website.
• Some Basic Marketing materials like overused keywords, email swipes, banners and text adds.
• A Promise that you are building a Real Business on the Internet... when all you are really doing is all of the Grunt Work for the person who sponsors the affiliate program or opportunity.
• You get Chump Change while they Make the Real Money.
• You also get to be one person out of thousands of others who are trying to make money with the same exact program... Faced with such Stiff Competition it's no wonder that most affiliate marketers simply give up within the first few weeks or months of affiliate marketing.

Now... Don't get me wrong... Affiliate Marketing is still the Cheapest and Easiest way to get started with an Internet Business... but you have to know the Nature of the Animal that you are trying to Tame. The desire of my heart has been to build a team of Truly Successful Team of Christian Affiliate and Internet Marketers. I want to make a Real Difference in the Financial and Spiritual lives of my brothers and sisters in Christ. But most affiliate programs have "Failure" built into them or they are simply an Incomplete method of Earning a Consistent Online Income. I know that Now.

A couple of years ago, I was thoroughly convinced that you could build a Career out of Affiliate Marketing. It took me some time... but I started to Earn a little Extra Income here and there with affiliate programs. I was working with one particular affiliate program that had me convinced that if I had one hundred sub-affiliates, and I really stood behind them and offered them training and support, that I could really begin to excpect to make some Serious Money. Well, here I am a couple of years later with over four hundred sub-affiliates for that program and I am only pulling in a couple of hundred dollars per month.

I finally began to work with a program that was making me some serious money this year as I learned and taught other people how to use Social Media Marketing Methods for Free Advertising. I was so overjoyed by the fact that I was making $300 to $500 per week, that I was willing to overlook the rude and sometimes unprofessional way in which the program originators were treating the hundreds of people that were signing up for the program at my suggestion. I thought I had found a perfect Internet Business Opportunity. My joy soon faded as I learned that the Marketing Materials and training that was given to the people who joined was sub-standard, out-dated and incomplete.
