If you have Statistics on your site, you will find that Untargeted Visitors spend so little time on your site, that the software counts it as a 0 second Visit. It's a waste of your time, and the time of your prospects... You need a Targeted Method that gets Interested Visits to your Niche Content in order to make money.

Many Newbie Marketers are faced with the decision of wisely spending on a Marketing and Advertising Campaign and it doesn't help matters when there are so many "Marketing Gurus", and even Google it'self, recommending an expensive PPC (or Pay-Per-Click) marketing campaign as an effective means of advertising. My advice to beginners is to Stay Away from PPC Advertising altogether, until you have perfected your Niche Market and Content. Advanced Marketers can get good results from PPC, but they have spent years perfecting their Niche Content and Advertising Tactics. What's Happening at Affiliate-Bivocation?

Times are still Tough...

It was only about a month ago that our President proclaimed that our Economic Crisis is showing signs of Remission and that "Economic Indicators were Up"... I don't know where he is getting his Intel because everyone I know is telling me a different story. We are facing even More Lay-Offs and businesses in my area are falling over like a long line of dominoes! Even the people who have "Good Paying" Jobs and a Steady Income are allowing their homes to go into forclosure and waiting for the Repo-Man to come and take their New Car. Please pray for your family and friends, because it doesn't look like were going to be financially "out of the woods" for a whle yet.

As a general rule... those of us who are Earning Extra Income on the Internet, are usually Not as badly affected as Brick-and-Mortar business, because we work at home, and we can keep our Over-Head down to a minimum. However, even my fellow entrepreneurs and Online marketers have been dealing with a huge drop in sales since around January. It was forecasted that Online sales would slow down after Christmas, but nobody ever expected this kind of hit on their Extra Income.

The writer of the book of James, in the Bible, told us... Jas 1:2-4  Let it be all joy to you, my brothers, when you undergo tests of every sort; Because you have the knowledge that the testing of your faith gives you the power of going on in hope; But let this power have its full effect, so that you may be made complete, needing nothing.  And in one of Paul's letters to the church at Rome told it's members this... Rom 5:3-5  And not only so, but let us have joy in our troubles: in the knowledge that trouble gives us the power of waiting; And waiting gives experience; and experience, hope: And hope does not put to shame; because our hearts are full of the love of God through the Holy Spirit which is given to us.

No matter what our current Financial and Spritual condition may Seem to be, we must constantly remind ourselves of the Promise of God's Provision and Direction. As we continue to face spiritual and financial challenges, we can face them tenacity and assurance, knowing that Our God will always Reward us for our Work... as long as we "Seek His Kingdom" above our own Selfish Desire.

While I most certainly miss the days when I always had a few twenty dollar bills in my pocket, I know that God has not forsaken me and each month He enjoys surprising me with the money I need to survive. My weakness is His Strength. God's children may be cast down, from time to time, but He Will Never Allow them to be Trodden Underfoot. Therefore, I approach each new day with re-newed optimism. God and I have been together long enough for me to rely on Faith. He has Never Failed to provide what I Need even though His timing would cause many of us to lose heart, and be Tempted to give-up and give-in. I can also tell you from experience, that being a Christian is Not for Sissies. But no matter how bad things "May Appear", we have a Special Grace that reassures us of God's Wealth and Abundance.

I was going to use this Blog post to simply remind you to be Persistent and Not to Allow the Economy to become an Excuse to Give-up or Fail... but I guess God had a stronger message in mind for you.

If you ask me how I am doing, I can honestly tell you that "It is Well with my Soul"!

I can also tell you... From Experience... that Internet and Affiliate Marketing can Rule your Emotions, if you let it. Whether you are building an Online Business or simply Trying to Earn Extra Income... Online Marketing is a Roller-Coaster Ride. When your Efforts begin to pay off, it is absolute Joy. But if you Allow Fear to Enter your Mind, You will be Scared Stupid... and you'll end up making some Bad Decisions.

Hang in there, God is helping you whether you realize it or not. Stay the course and Follow a Plan to Reach your Goals as a marketer. The pay-off will eventually come... and you will ultimately Reach some of your Goals. You just have to Stay Inside the Roller-Coaster... and Keep your Arms and Legs Inside the car at All Times.

If you study the landscape of Internet Marketing Today, as compared to Online Marketing even one year ago... you'll begin to see that some major shifts have taken place... and this leaves a Great Over-Abundance of Traditional Marketers Scrambling to Infuse some Life back into their Products with a Few Social Networking Tricks.

I suppose an example of this Trend would be something like taking a Ford Pinto from the 1970's Era... adding a digital dashboard and an updated sound system... and then trying to Sell it as a Brand New Car! This approach just wouldn't be very effective, and you would end up losing more time, money and resources than you have invested in the "old girl"... if and when you finally sold your Upgrade Pinto.

Clickbank Stealth, Affiliate Jump and dozens of other products I can think of off-hand definitely fall into this category. This past year I worked with an Affiliate program that was based on Traditional Marketing Methods instead of Social Media and Networking Methods. I made a great deal of money from the program by adding Social Networking Value to them in my own Promotions and Advertising... But Alas, this Only worked for a few months as Better and More Socially Adapted programs began to Overtake it and it finally reached a point where it was just "no longer worth the Extra Effort... I knew I could find (or build) a more suitable program or product(s) for the Modern Social Network Marketplace.

As we continue to Transition toward Social and Local Markets, it is incumbent upon us to Research Each Program, to ensure that it will 1) easily integrate and adapt to Social Markets 2) or, Even better if the Product or Program was Designed and Built For Social and Local Networking Platforms.

We should bear in mind that there are hundreds of programs and products on the market right now, that have been Retro-Fitted for Social Networking and while you may be able to Make some Quick Cash with them,,, don't count on building a Long-Term and Consistent Income based upon such programs.

I Want to be Clear that I am Not Saying that this program (or programs like it) have No Value... as an Affiliate and Internet Marketer who has been around the block a few times... I have learned Not to Discount the Value of any Product or Program. But I have become acutely aware of the "Chinks in their Armor"...

As a quick example before I close... When I first started making money on the Internet... or should I say 'When I first started working hard for NO money on the Internet"... I bought a Course on Internet Marketing (for a good chunk of Cash) where my "supposed Mentor" was a very Nice guy and he basically laid out "Every Step He Took Toward Earning a Decent Income as a Marketer". He was easily accessible and he always put a lot of Effort into his "Coaching", but everything he tried to teach me were things I already knew or were Easily Accessible for FREE by researching with Google. This was also at the time when the Internet Market was beginning to change from the Traditional Site Based, Sales Letter Marketing methods to the Newer and more social methods we must now use if we expect to Earn Our Living on the Internet.

Around the same time span... I also bought an Ebook, for under ten bucks, that Opened my Mind to a Whole New World of Opportunity. So, while I hold No Ill Will toward the gentleman who aspired to be my Mentor, All of his Coaching was pretty much Wasted Money and not a Real Investment in my Future as a Marketer.

Such is life. Sometimes we can Feel Like We Have Been Scammed, even though we have received the very best that someone has to Offer (mainly when we spend too much money for it) and at the same time... a Simple product may open doors of Opportunity that we had Never Realized even existed.

In Summary, Clickbank Stealth is NOT a Scam... But it may not be the Best product and service for your money. Take extra time to research each Product and Program that is geared toward Making Money on the Internet during this time of Transition toward Social Networking and Social Media. Be sure to pay attention to details because just as sure as there are Old programs being retro-fitted for Social Networking, there are also New Social Services Popping up, Left and Right, and just about the time you learn to effectively use these services, programs or products... they are likely to Fold, Shut-Down or go Bankrupt in our current Economy.

If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is... But Not Always... So Stay Sharp, and Invest in your Future by Only Investing in Social and Local Networking Products, Programs and Services.
